I am a Dietitian living in the beautiful area of Kings Lynn, West Norfolk.
Graduated from the University of Nottingham with a masters of nutrition degree.
Worked in the NHS for over 13 years as a Dietitian, gaining a range of experience in areas such as; diabetes, heart disease, stroke, home enteral feeding, cancer, irritable bowel syndrome, coeliac disease, food intolerances, malnutrition and weight management.
Worked for the local MEND group; (a healthy diet and lifestyles group for overweight children) as their Nutritional expert. Supporting families to lose weight and learn about healthy diet and nutrition. Worked with the MOD and their families on the Ascension Island, giving diet related talks on a range of topics and assessed healthy food availability.
Volunteered as a leader of an after school cookery club at a primary school for all classes from reception to year six.
I enjoy sharing knowledge around diet and nutrition and supporting clients to make changes to their diet and over come barriers. Knowledge is power! It is important to build a trusting relationship to work together on a practical nutritional plan. I give personalised advice that fits in with your diet and day to day life.
A benefit of working free lance is that it is more flexible and more time can be given where needed, without the pressures of waiting lists. I can work in a personalised way that suits you and your dietary needs, this might include some practical activities such as; menu planning, shopping lists, adapting your favourite recipes and cookery sessions.
I love to share my enjoyment of food and tips on finding the right balance for you to bring about a healthy diet, which can include the things you enjoy.
I am registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and am a member of the British Dietietic Association (BDA). This means that you can trust my advice and feel secure that I adhere to the rules that govern my profession.

Once Covid virus restrictions lift, I can resume group talks to; businesses, social groups, charities and for those in education. I can give talks on a range of nutritional topics tailored for the group. Contact me to discuss the needs or interests of your group.
Once Covid virus restrictions lift I can design a nutritional workshop or series of workshops for you or your group. We are never too young or too old to learn something new! We often learn better when we are acvtively involved in the process. I have fun ideas that would be ideal for preschoolers and early years education providers. Of course I would not leave the adults out from having fun! I can tailor the workshops to the needs of the group. Contact me to chat about your requirements.
